This bookstore is definitely a Toronto’s hidden gem for spanish readers. Lots of classic and new reads. Maria, who works there, is very charismatic and will guide you through every book you find interest in and would recommend some others based on what she has learnt from you. She has amazing knowledge of every book and makes the experience of going to the bookstore even more interesting.

My Bookclub buys books for the children at Romero house. This year one of the children only read in Spanish so I was a little bit mystified about what to get them. The lady at the Spanish book store was very helpful and help me select. I hope the perfect book I highly recommend it.

They have a couple of shelves at the back with used books for $3, with lots of nice stuff. If you’re looking for a specific book, the lady can check if she has a used copy at home, or can order a new copy from Spain. Note, however, that the store only orders from Spain, not Latin America, which rules out a lot of titles. A nice place to drop by every few months or so.

El lugar es muy agradable, tiene libros muy interesantes, los precios no son elevados y si no los tiene, la persona que atiende te ofrece ayuda para buscarlo e incluso si no cuenta con un libro físicamente busca entre sus proveedores para Mirar si los tiene y si no amablemente te responderá con un email. Buscaba una librería donde hubiera libros en español y sin duda éste es un buen lugar.
