My partner loves this place! We’ve been here three times now and she loves looking at all the books and perusing the variety of options that this store has to offer. The interior is very clean and organized and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Needless to say that Tombolo always provides a great experience and atmosphere to search for classic novels, kids books, or new releases!

Came here for the first time for an author event and it exceeded my expectations. The shop is small but really well stocked with an excellent variety of bestsellers, local finds, and many different genres. It's clean and cute and the staff were really nice. As an avid reader who is also on the cheap side, I'm not someone who usually risks buying a new author full price when the library is free, but there is something special about a small, private book store and the ability to support a local business and a local author at the same time. Something special about a book lover community, sharing space with people who get lost in the pages the same way you do, and being able to get new and unique recommendations from all sorts of perspectives. It's an experience. Also props to the store for their loads of events-not an easy undertaking and really shows their commitment to the book community!

Our whole family loves this bookstore! They have a great selection and the staff is very helpful and kind. Plus, it’s just a neat place to walk around. Definitely a must see!

What a wonderful place! This bookstore may be small but there are gems everywhere. They had a table setup displaying translated books by women. I thought I was in heaven! I scooped up almost each one. And the staff is so knowledgeable, too. As I was checking out, we started talking about books in translation and another book was recommended to me. So, of course, I got that one, too! Reading it now and it is even better than described. A thoughtful, intelligent bookseller is a million times better than an algorithm. This is why I love independent bookstores.

Quaint independent bookstore. Loved the vibes of the place, made me feel like I was a part of a community like you might see in a movie - as if I might run into a neighborhood friend here. They also seem to run book club and meet the author events which I think is nice! It is adjacent to Black Crow Coffee and a juice bar, which makes it easy to pop by and get some caffeine after picking out a book. Parking is a bit of a challenge - so I would recommend street parking and then walking over.

What a wonderful/calm atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, and even the manager was kind enough to help me find what i was looking for. Loved the music and loved the vibe. I will definitely be coming back. Oh, and did I mention they have a very cool coffee shop right next door? ❤️

Cutest little indie bookseller! The staff is incredible - passionate about books and have great recommendations based on what you like to read. Shop is TINY but everyone is so nice, just feels cozy. Wonderful selection of new books from popular to indie to local. Manager was very cool about letting us come through and browse with our dogs. Hands-down favorite book shop in St Pete!!

Great experience, I'm new to reading for pleasure and they were VERY helpful and knowledgeable. Book prices are expected to be more expensive than Amazon, it is a privately owned store who likely pay their ee's a decent wage, the reviews from people shocked about the cost are out of touch. They did not have the book I was looking for, but after talking with the nice clerk who went above and beyond, she helped me find another book that I'm enjoying as we speak. I highly value a privately owned business! Keep up the great work!
