A terrific bookshop, full of flair and hard to find books. To me, it is a real communal space for the neighborhood, a serenely sincere and sincerely serene little nook in an otherwise bustling city. The owners are real Menschen, know their stock like the back of their hands and are always ready to give me a fitting recommendation. It's a quirky penultimate bastion of humane oddity in Neukölln, not to be missed.

Mediocre selection of books.
Paid 5€ for a 100 page novella, which the owner described as "weak tea", only after I had bought the book of course.
A good bookshop should have character, and personally I felt that this place was lacking. Wouldn't recommend.

So back in Covid times, I headed one day for this shop hoping to make my lonely unemployed Covid existence a little brighter with a nice book to read in a park. I browsed the books outside and was kinda shocked by the prices 7/8/9e even for slim paperback easily available books with tears on the covers. At the time this was totally out of my budget. I asked the 2 hipster guys sitting outside as politely and gently as I could whether there was maybe a box or shelf of sale books for 2/3e… and I got an earful (in an American drawl) about poor independent bookshops and reasonably priced books and -you won’t find anywhere with those prices- : I know this is true, and I do care deeply about the welfare of independent bookshops, but it was delivered with such snootiness and total lack of empathy that I really teared up as I was walking away. It felt so emblematic of Berlin gentrification, and just a really mean answer to a simple question. 20 mins later found another small independent bookshop in schillerkiez with kind staff and many nice books in my budget. I know this was 3/4 years ago but to this day every time I walk past this bookshop I get a bad taste in my mouth, so here’s your belated bad review

I've been coming to this place since the opening and always found a book or two, each time. The prices are fair, not super cheap maybe but reflecting the condition and rarity of one book. I bought some for 2-3€ that were quite battered and some for 6-8€ in ship shape form. Its small, it's cramped up, it's full of lovely books and the people working there are always helpful. May their reign be long and prosper!

Fantastic selection of books, my first time I picked up 4 books for a very fair price. Old classics mixed with new titles, the man who helped me was also very friendly and helpful. Really cosy setting, surely for any reader you will find what you are looking for in here and if you don't then ask the owner as he's ready to reccomend!
Will certainly be going back!

I love this little bookstore! Great selection of English books at reasonable prices. Very cozy and people who work there are always friendly and helpful. They have a lot of sci-fi, fantasy, poetry, and plays, more than many bookstores in Berlin.
