This is a very nice Houston Public Library serving the East End neighborhoods. Its clean and well organized.

For it's size, the computer section is large. They have almost two dozen terminals that library patrons can use.

The selection of fiction and non-fiction on hand is small. You can use the HPL catalog computer to reserve any book in the HPL system for pickup here. Most bestsellers are in a floating collection (not assigned to a particular branch library).

The facility is great, updated and nice. The book selection is decent too. However, the kids area is lacking. There is one bin of puzzles that are missing most of their pieces, and no other toys. That being said, I liked that the kids area was in the corner where I felt we wouldn't bother anyone. I also liked all the little cushioned seats they had there. And my kids still had a good time. So overall good experience, but we probably won't go back.

Flores Neighborhood Library is much closer to me but it’s currently closed again! Just glad Stanaker isn’t much further and there’s familiar faces from Flores. All the librarians are so kind and helpful. My kids enjoy the events and always feel welcomed here just like they did at Flores. While we miss Flores we’re glad to have Stanaker as our library as well.

The library is there a very snakish librarians at this location are very sneakers a bunch of young women with emotional problems do their relationships at home and they come to work and take it out on innocent young man touching myself that are quiet and I know how to read most of them do not know how to read cuz they sit around all day talking to each other but it make a long story short I was kicked out of a library in the city but that was just the main location they never told me I couldn't go back to any location library so when I get there I've been going to this library for 8 months and they finally sent the police in to tell me that I'm not supposed to be on property 8 months later due to them being insecure and intimidated by my intellectual ways these are young women at this right there so a lot of them crave attention if they don't get attention their turn on you cuz I'm a young handsome black man and I know that a lot of these young hispanic women and young white women women are attracted to young black men and when you don't give them what they want they tend to last out my experience might not be like everybody else's experience but I'm just telling you my experience I have with these people on a jealousy level half of them are always going to be workers and never own anything half of those young girls and I don't know how to read more right don't know intellectual words but they want to attack the homeless guy that's more smarter than they are they are I would advise when you go here not to take these people as kind people they're very snakeish. But God's going to deal with all my enemies you reap what you sow so for those young ladies there that has something against me when I have nothing against them they're going to have to deal with that karma tenfold so remember what I said you will pay for what you done and that's in the hands of the Lord the Lord not in my hands

Me and my toddler love going to this library , workers are always helpful and lovely . Love there activities for the children it’s just amazing ❤️
