It's a very crowded waiting room/office, but I'm always impressed by the level of care. I was scheduled with Dr Li, who stopped in for 2 minutes, but I spoke thoroughly with nurse practitioners Zheng. Her questions were very comprehensive. She would think of things to tell me that were necessary regarding my care. I was impressed.

My initial visit with the PA was very helpful in getting me started for my tests, and she took her time to ask questions and answer my questions as well. The receptionist are friendly and helpful. I also went in for a colonoscopy and this went well. That's about it that was good.

When it came to discussing my results I spoke to a man who did not introduce himself, so I assume he is the GI doctor. He wasn't very knowledgeable about my condition and just told me he would prescribe me medications and to make another appointment if I experience pain or weight loss. He also suggested I see my PCP for more blood work to get more testing about my diagnosis, but when I spoke to me PCP they informed me that my GI doctor is responsible for requesting tests if he sees anything concerning with my results.

Also, it's been almost 3 weeks since my last visit and I have yet to receive my medications because the GI doctor has yet to contact my insurance. I've called multiple times and spoke with a man who was not helpful whatsoever. I won't be coming back here, and don't recommend this office unless you're in need of a colonoscopy.

I went to see doctor Jianjun Li in Chinatown office for the first time consult for colonoscopy and the entire process was very quick and easy. The front desk girls was very nice and was very helpful when I was filling out the forms. They also explained all the steps for my colonoscopy very well and even gave highlighted paper instructions! You can also tell doctor Li is very experienced and knows what he is doing. I really appreciate everyone's help. I really recommend doctor Li office.
