What a perfect book store. Love the vibe. I recently cultivated a rare opportunity to browse unhurried, and was delighted to find these fantastically helpful sticky notes on so many books — thoughtfully prepared little labors of love, giving shoppers a brief but content-rich idea of what you can expect in the pages beneath.

After a bit of looking around, one staff member asked me a couple questions to help guide me toward authors similar to ones I already loved. So much better than searching online. When I try to do this with platforms like Kindle or Goodreads, I get a mixed bag. I can find books of the same genre but not always the same quality of writing or complexity of character arcs.

At Page 158, the recommendations were insightful and felt well curated.

A great experience overall! Love supporting this local gem! Go buy some books!!

This place is such a hidden gem in Wake Forest! My mom and I have been looking for a good bookstore for a while, and I think we found our spot. Everyone who works there is extremely kind and knowledgeable. Majority of the books have little sticky note synopsis’s on them which makes browsing super easy! The store is set up so that fiction is on one side and non fiction on the other, which I personally love. There’s also a little reading nook with a couch. Highly recommend this bookstore, they have a little something for everyone. (:

Wonderful shop, I've probably bought a dozen books from them in the last year or two and the owner Sue recognizes me every time. All the employees have been nothing but kind and helpful. Recently I've gone to their classics book club even though I thoguht I might be too young at 17 and the members were so welcoming to me that I decided to write this review! The store has been a pillar in my life since i was a toddler and they had thier old location downtown and Ive grown up with it just to love it even more.

This book store is so much fun to browse around and the staff are super friendly!! I really enjoyed the kid section, we go to the library a lot but they had many books I hadn't seen before. Loved the little cafe attached to it too! We will definitely be back many times!

I love this bookstore! The renovations they recently did are very nice and the staff is extremely friendly! They have an excellent selection of books for both adults and kids. Would highly recommend if you are an avid reader and you want to support local bookstores!

I drove an hour to meet a friend here and was NOT disappointed! Excellent selection of new books, even went and added a few to my TBR that I’d never heard of before entering the store! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I’ll definitely be back!
P.S. be sure to pick up a Blind Date with a Book while you’re there, you won’t regret it!

Great selection of books. Great helpful people! This is everybody's favorite local bookstore.
They help the reading community thrive by hosting several genre reading clubs. They help the author community thrive by hosting book launch events all the time, bringing in bigger and bigger names, and helping us local Indie authors get off to a good start.

This is the BEST bookstore in the world. It's so cozy and friendly. I love being in the store and browsing the shelves. The owner is so kind, and everyone who works there is really friendly. And they always have a great book recommendation. The kids section is amazing, and my daughter loves spending time in the store picking out books. They have such a huge variety, and there is always something new to read.
