Music, books, and coffee. Mojo nirvana. One of my visions of heaven.

I only had 2 hours to spend at Mojo Books and Records, and I could have used 2 days.

I sipped a delicious ice latte while shopping. The latte met my requirements of being so good that I don't need to add any sweetener.

? All good, no worries! ?

Huge selection (2 6ft tall book cases) of gently used manga priced from 3.99 - 9.99 used. They even had some japanese printed manga in the back shelves by the language section, nothing recognizable but still really interesting! Just look out, there are a few 'new' copies that are at full price! The few that I picked up were newer printed titles and had 'new' stickers on them. Will be adding this into my used book rotation!!! Photos attached of a few hard cover or plastic sealed steals ?

They're hibiscus was fresh and homemade but they went crazy with the strength of it, they tried to fix it but I should have just asked for a different drink, that's my bad but I feel that shouldn't have happened, the flavor was good it was just very strong. But I went back for a pumpkin spice latte and it was the best pumpkin spice latte I've ever had, the cafe is really good, I think a bit pricey but honestly it's fine cuz all cafes are pricey anyways. So I will say this Cafe is very justified but, the hibiscus incident was pretty much my bad for not switching, I'm sure they would have which is why I'm going to leave a top review. The bookstore is really fun, very nostalgic, there are some things that are really cool to find.

I was so happy to find a place in Tampa that I was able to buy, sell and trade books, movies and music. What I don't like is the price of their vinyls are a little too high for my liking. They are higher than most regular stores that sell records (Walmart, Barnes and Noble). All in all it has great vibes.

We had high hopes visiting this bookstore. Upon entering it seemed wonderful.
As we walked around we started noticing that many of the books were overpriced. The selection was decent and it was quite a large store.
The coffee shop was disappointing. The espresso was acidic and the iced coffee had coffee grounds.
When checking out book purchases, you have to check out at coffee counter; where it prompts you to tip. I don't feel I should tip to purchase a book.
The aisles of shop were decently narrow although they were labeled to make shopping easier.
Overall, not terribly impressed. But, it was worth a stop to check it out.
Thank you.

Very eclectic cool book store. Books were fairly priced and had a few tables to read at as well. I could have have spent hours looking at all the little trinkets they had. I think my only complaint is that there was a “service dog” with no clear owner that roaming the store.

Super cool book store with a fun laid back vibe. Fantastic selection of books, records, dvds along with posters and miscellaneous goodies to buy. Fabulous coffee and desserts too.

One of my favorite places to hang out and find niche books/music. Many teas to choose from, great coffee and good variety of music playing at all times.

Only downside is it’s an ice box. Bring at least 3 layers of clothes ready if you’re going there to study or work. Unfortunately that’s kind of the Florida standard for indoor climates, especially libraries: Make it 62 degrees while outside is in the 90s. A massive waste of energy, while being uncomfortable for many. Dedicated dehumidifiers will save you a lot in the long run.
Anyway, temperature rant over. It’s an excellent place overall. Go support them!
