Magick Cauldron has been a bulwark of the Montrose Community for as long as I can remember. Before the current location, they used to be in a two story house off of Westheimer.

A lot has changed since those days, but the best has remained true and that’s definitely a good thing. This spot has always been a place for those that dance to the beat of a different drum: from the left hand path, to the white wards of Wicca and Reiki, all will find a familiar face and place within those walls.

The staff is very nice and willing to strike up a conversation even if you’re a weekend warrior asking neophyte questions.

As for the wares: they have an extensive collection of herbs, candles, incense from resin to traditional, sterling silver jewelry, books from informative, instructional, to grimoires, there is even a used section, tarot cards new and used, stones, wands, spellworking/crafting supplies, crystals, wands, knives, swords, charcoal, idols, and even sugar skull motifs.

You’ll even see a sweet canine from time to time that just might come up and say hi!

Places like these deserve your patronage, because sometimes it’s better to venture out of your abode to see things with your own eyes, and Houston needs to keep these places around. Go check it out today!

Awful customer experience with some guy reading a book who clearly seemed annoyed that I asked a question about a statue. He answered my question with an award-winning eye roll….. Everyone who worked here looked at me as if I had no earthly right to be there…. IF you seem disinterested and annoyed with your physical customers who come there to browse, WHY are you there Put all your crap online and close your store!!! DO I NEED TO COME IN HERE WEARING A HALLOWEEN COSTUME to be taken seriously

I really enjoy coming to this store. I always find quality items at relatively reasonable prices. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. It feels like a safe place for asking questions as well as having a nice selection of items for various metaphysical arts.

Recommend by someone I met at half price books! This shop truly is magical! We were greeted walking in the door by the owner who was more like a great host! The shop can be a little overwhelming because of the vast amount of treasures and trinkets. We could have spent all day flipping through the books and looking through the shelves filled with all things magic. Looking forward to my next visit

WTH? - This place has been around a long, long time. Maybe too long? They've got a decent selection of overpriced trinkets, but wow, I walked in and was immediately smacked by the BAD vibes. No one said hello, welcome or piss off and it was actually uncomfortable to be there. To be fair I thought, well, I could've caught them on an 'off day,' so I went back a 2nd time. Same exact thing. Half of the staff seemed snooty and apathetic, the other half seemed hostile. Why are you still open if your staff hates dealing with humans? I can buy anything here cheaper online and I will now. 😉
