My least favorite APL.

The staff here is really condescending and attitudinal. They also randomly close this library super early at times. I used to live nearby. I'm glad I live in a different neighborhood now with a way better library and especially better library staff.

Like someone mentioned, the kids section takes up the majority of the library, which is oddly accurate. Egress from the drive thru drop off is awkward AF and people driving on this road love to play chicken with you while you are trying to exit.

Nice library, nice staff, lots of comfortable seating…but more and more I’ve noticed a strong acrid smell of urine and unwashed bodies when I sit in most chairs. Today I sat in the kid section to avoid this but was asked to leave as I had no kid with me.

I can’t speak to the library yet, I bet it’s great. But regarding the customer service, I was disappointed that after walking there with my newborn and dog, I was turned away. All I needed was to confirm my address to get my library card, something that would take a minute or two. No, my dog isn’t a service dog so I understand not bringing it in. So I had her on the leash attached to my stroller outside the door where she sat patiently and I could see her from the front desk, and they still told me I couldn’t leave her unattended on the property and that I needed to leave and come back. It would have been appreciated if they had given me a reason or made a one time exception as I didn’t know that was a rule. Now I do, and will tell others, but kindness and explanations go a long way, not just repeating yourself rudely like I’m an idiot.

Nice public library and a little hidden away from the hubbub of Burnet Road. I really like the late hours that they're open, as well as the artistic touches here and there. A quick tip: to find some of the power outlets, especially in the seating area in the back corner, pop out the metal plates from the floor. The outlets are just beneath the plates.

Era primera vez que iba con mi hija.
Fueron tan amables con nosotras, en realidad nos explicaron y nos ayudaron muy bien apesar del idioma.
Puedes llevar libros, dvd, blu-ray. Hay de todo un poco.
Si estás en casa con tus hijos sin saber que hacer, esta es una excelente opción. Mi hija ama los manga y aqui los pudo conseguir y llevar a casa para leer.

Kids, grown-ups all alike here. All is welcome. A bit of warning a lot homeless males and females also. But they're harmless. These homeless people shouldn't be the issue cause they're people too.
