Absolutely loved this bookstore! Went in for a Christmas present, gave them a very vague explanation and ended up finding EXACTLY what I wanted. They also have a system where you can donate your own books and it lowers the price of books they have and I can't wait to go through my books to do that. Highly recommend

I went to their holiday party this year and it was one of the most fun events I’ve been to all year. They had book trivia, chocolates, and so so SO many books to choose from! I literally exchanged 9 books and came back with 12. The owner is so sweet, and every staff member is incredibly inclusive, kind and fun to talk to.

It was my first time visiting today and I absolutely loved it! Everything is so organized and I couldn’t get the guys name but he was so helpful and extremely nice so I’ll definitely be coming back.

I don’t think I have ever entered a used bookstore that is more organized. They know what they have in stock and they can look up if they have something.

The staff is also incredibly friendly and give great recommendations. It’s just a great store. I will definitely go back.

First time in the shop, and I found a special printing I've been seeking to finish out a collection, a book I had just talked about mailing to a friend (minutes before), and two others I've been searching for for years but never found an adequate copy. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the overall vibe was *borat voice* very nice. I highly recommend this treasure trove of literary delights ?

I love this place, sometimes it’s a hit or a miss but normally I can find something that interests me. They’ve got a good sized YA and thriller section, and a mid sized sci-fi. They’re horror section kinda sucks but I can’t image many people bring in horror books to them. The same person is always working when I go in and they are the best, they’ve recommended me tons of books which I’ve loved almost all of them. Prices are ok, they’ve gotten a bit higher throughout the years but they’re still reasonable. Highly recommend checking this place out

What an amazing place! Gently used books of many genres, great prices, and Jack is a real superstar! Too bad I live in PA, or I'd visit much more often. I'll be shopping here online though.

Central Book Exchange will always be the best used book store ive been to. The displays are always on point and they have unique selections. The used book store sale in the summer is one of my favorite. Go check out the local art there specifically Emily Bagleys prints and a portion goes to the store!
