We noticed this little book store on a day out and about and decided to stop. It's a small, quiet store with a friendly owner and a friendly dog named Daisy who greeted us at the door.

My husband finally found a copy of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, which he's been looking for for a few months. Our kids each found a few books of interest: Lego Star Wars Encyclopedia, Lunch Lady and an Adventure Time graphic novel. We spent about 20 minutes browsing before checking out. Heads up it's cash or check only. There's a sign on their front door indicating such. The prices are comparable to HPB for used books.

They've got a huge Nora Roberts collection, which I'll be going back to to do some gift shopping for the extended family.

I love this store so very much! I have 4 children and it’s hard to find books at a reasonable price and this bookstore has it all! It has the classics, how tos, young adult books, children books, I would come here every week if I could. I appreciate the non-complicated, simple aesthetic of their bookstore and the owners are just very pleasant. I hope this place stays open for years and years to come, it’s such a breath of fresh air from shopping online. Let me touch the books first! Thank you so much and I’ll see you guys soon!

A mom and pop bookstore, with 7 quality rows of oldie but goodie novels and a dog. A DOG. What more could you want. Only takes cash so be prepared. Had to find the nearest gas station atm but if you want the books, it's a sacrifice worth taking!

Super cute little store. A little on the older side but it had a pretty good selection of books. The owner is nice and has an adorable dog.

Incredibly wonderful owners and staff, and great selection of books. Very good prices and provides trade-in’s and store credit. Also a very sweet “dog on premises”. So glad I stumbled into this hole in the wall charming bookstore!

The pile on the right is from Books Abound, the pile on the left is from Half Price books. I spent about 100$ at Books Abound and 120$ at Half Price Books. I purchased double the amount of books at Books Abound. The couple and the dog were nice. When I was at Half Price books someone kept repeating every 15 minutes for one hour before closing “please bring your items to the counter because we will be closing at 8pm”. With an emphasis on “We Will”, in my opinion. I really got the impression that this person isn’t a book lover, book lovers take in the breaths of each moment; they rest in time: present, past and future. When you visit a used book store it is more for the experience then the books. I enjoyed my experience at Books Abound. Their is an antique shop about 2 minutes away from Books Abound, so you can make a day of it.

Was looking for a certain book. This place had it along with a great attitude. It’s family owned. The husband and wife were really kind and help me out with anything I needed. They are cash only so keep that in mind before you go browsing.
