I visited with my 10 year old daughter for her to spend the Book Tokens that she had received for Christmas.

She felt that they had a great selection for her to choose from - though was concerned that she didn't spot any books by David Wallams.

Served by a friendly member of the team at the till.

You can buy coffee and cake here too!

A fantastic shop with a great selection of genres and books. You can even have a coffee and cake whilst you browse the selection! I could and probably will spend hours here finding my next great read.

Friendly knowledgeable owner and staff, great range, and happy to order in anything you want. Not tried the subscription service but I hear good things. Regular Author events are excellent.

I have been buying books from Bert's Books online for several years now and the experience is always fantastic - great customer service and little touches like ribbons to make it special. I especially love being able to easily request particular books are stocked. I recently visited the physical shop in Swindon for the first time and it was just as positive. As someone with a physical disability, I was particularly appreciative of the accessibility of the shop and ease of moving around with plenty of space between displays.
