Feels like walking into a home, a home of choice and filled with endless number of books of various genres❤️✨️
Can spend almost hours reading endless number of stories and still be left with the urge to read more
Has all the books and comics that the current genz grew up reading and enjoying:)
Has new books, the older ones and some at discounted prices and cute little bookmarks too.
The place is barely any distant from the mg road metro station and its a good place to hangout with friends or by yourself!❤️

As the name says it blossoms ?
My take away

1. Yes they have very rare and good collections
2. You can visit the book house, pick a book and keep reading as long as you want over there, like a library, no one will stop you whatsoever. So, if you are bored, do not have money to buy a book, wanted to read some book, and watch people in the showroom and you wanted to get noticed that people are watching you, please go there
3. There are total of 3 floors, they have managed it quite okay
4. In each floor at maximum you can accommodate 15 people, anything more than 15, you can smell your sweat and somebody else sweat as all. You can even feel air getting warmer. To my surprise, even in such a small floor, people manage to sit and read. And when they sit, they don’t care about others moving across their place..

When I went there, there were 3 girls sitting. One had a book, and seems she was in TRANS state, other one was holding a book with Instagram reels on other hand and the third one was watching these 2 girls. When I reached there and asked them, “excuse me” wanted to see some books in this shelf, can you please give me some space. All off them stared at me and gave me a look ?, I was like

“Okay, parvagilla bidi”, you please keep reading, I’ll come back next year.

This is the condition of that blossom book house.

5. Price is reasonable, you can afford it
6. No parking space
7. Not sure there was a restroom or not.
8. You can even give books and get some credit for it. Your credit score can be increased and out of that you can buy more books later.
9. Crowd was excellent.

It’s a pride for banglorians, must visit place.

So far, most of the audience who visit the book house, have no clue why they visit and what to buy. And when they buy, after 4 hours they will realise, macha - Why I bought Maga ? Let’s give it back and increase the credit score

This is the mindset I saw in the crowd. So, please do visit with a respect and buy things that truly matters.

Oh yeah one final thing, they have 2-3 shops near by, the one I commented was the old one. 1️⃣

Oldest and greatest book shop in Bangalore. Reflects the intellectual city of Banglore vibe.

So so so many books.

Take some out of your lives, say grand hi to the book lover in you and spend some hours here.

Don't come to pick a book in a hurry!

What can one say about a place as iconic as this one? Well always a pleasure to be here, a fantasy island for any bookworm!

Only thing is that it gets a bit suffocating sometimes, if the staff on its own proactively switched on the wall mounted fans installed all over the place, that will greatly help.

If you are a book reader let it be comics, children s story book, coloring books, friction, non friction, educational or the serious books ..you get it all
The smell.of books is like heaven for those who know it
The best thing is you can return the book you purchased it once you are done reading and you will get half the points as per the cost of the book and purchase a book based on those points or discount price.

The best part about this place is their collection of books. Everything is available here.
The bad part is that it is very disorganised.
Old and new books are kept together.
The place is understaffed.
The ambience is messy.
Got a few books from here, but online prices are lower. The advantage here is that you can read some pages and look at the book before the purchase.

Favourite Book Store in town.
From old new used and shared, they have them all. Blossoms has some sort of homing instinct when it comes to books. They have a huge collection of books that would demand all your time to sit and flip through. Any book you enquire they can also arrange on request.
Being a postcrosser myself blossoms is the only place where I find a sea of postcards (they are pricey but some are definitely worth the price ) love the smell of books and old wooden attic. When you visit church street don’t forget to schedule a couple of hours here if you’re a book lover .

Probably the best book store you will find. Has tons of books on display. Some are used, some are brand new. Prices are insanely cheap compared others.
