Tons of used books. I found some relatively recent releases too. All organized very well and the staff was nice. Plus they have a bathroom! I could spend all day in there.

Great selection and well organized! Real sense of community and you can tell the employees are passionate about what they do. Some books are overpriced based on availability and condition but otherwise good prices

I love Bookman! As a former librarian and avid reader, this place is truly the best! I will reach out on a limb and say that parts if not most of Orange County is lacking quirky and artsy charm but this place is a hidden (strictly by location), gem! I love how the books are curated by placards based on fun categories and the owner became a friend when I lived there and is a lovely, laid-back and passionate human!
Mostly used books with some new ones featured as well and the selection is excellent! Bonus points that they focus local artists and have poetry readings!
I moved to NYC where there as one can imagine a wide plethora of incredible indie bookstores (doesn't feel this way in most of California), but I truly miss Bookman and it will always remain in my heart.
Support them if you know what's best for you (haha), go to their events, look at the wonderful art and sign up for their email newsletters as they often send 20% (I believe) coupons off which is a great help.

I came to look for a present and ended up staying 2.5 hrs! They have an extensive inventory (esp sci fi series!) and great recommendations if you need them.

Always great to drive to "Bookman" and buy a book. The staff, area, and books are great. There is a variety of books related to psychology, math, business, many other areas too. Any question I have here, and the staff is always willingly to help.

Bigger inside than it looks outside. I *really* appreciate their effort in organization, by subject/genre and by author last name. Very clean store. Lots of books. Good collection of older, hardback books. Both the juvenile and teen fiction sections well stocked. Lots of older (80s and earlier) technical books (electronics, physics, math). Found a book I've wanted for a long time... Make Room! Make Room! by Harry Harrison. SciFi pretty large. Good prices. 2 hours there and barely scratched the surface. One of the few used book stores I know of that has their catalog online. Buy from Bookman and help keep the used book stores in business.
