I found this cool little place on the McDonough square in my beer tracking app. It was listed as a registered local venue. It is a full on book store with plenty of choices, with a full beer and wine bar in the back. We walked around the store and then checked out their beer choices. Surprisingly, the list was pretty extensive and diverse. Additionally, we noticed they had an upcoming beer tasting. We did order anything this time, but we plan to return another day.

We had a wonderful baby shower in the event space at Story on the Square. Everyone was very helpful! We also enjoyed shopping around the store afterwards. Highly recommend!

Discovered this book shop on our way home to Conyers. Such a lovely shop with super friendly staff, who told me all about their book club and showed us around to their wine stations as well, yes books and wine. This place is fantastic. If you are ever in the area, you definitely should stop by.

This is one of my top tier favorite places in McDonough! I absolutely love the vibe the bookstore brings to the square, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is absolutely perfect in what you’d want of a lovely shop with a pristine bar. I’m so grateful to have a local independent bookstore of this quality in town.

Helen and the entire Story on the Square staff helped make the wedding of our dreams into a reality (beyond what we’d dreamed). Prices were reasonable and clearly explained, service was exceptional, and communication always timely. The venue is gorgeous as is and the team was helpful with decorating it a little more to fit our needs. The vendor recommendations led us to a great DJ for the occasion and we were able to bring in a caterer with assistance from Helen and team.

It's an amazing neighborhood feeling and has all you'd want in one place. If you enjoy a morning coffee at night it's there with books and seating. One of my favorite places to go even the staff is helpful and considerate.

I’ve been in the area going on 5 years and I’m disappointed that I’m just taking time out to enjoy my city.

Great staff, great fun, a large selection of books.

I went for bingo night and I can not think of anything I would have rather been doing on a Wednesday evening. Shelby was an excellent host and it was just a all around good vibe. I learned they have so many other events other than bingo, and I cannot wait to attend some of them.

I highly recommend and will be back.
