So many things to see,I know I missed something! Will definitely have to GO back! It’s just a ways from me. But-you can go online & order & they will ship to you. But, it’s so fun to actually see items & know exactly what you’re getting. And the people were SO friendly and helpful. Totally enjoyed this shopping experience!

This is the first time I came and done business with Family Books &Gifts on Watt Ave in North Highlands.

I wanted to get a zippered carrying case for my Bible so it stays protected and stored safe when going to and from church or when it's sitting on a table at home when I am not studying it at the time.

Family Books has a lot of wonderful things and the staff there had been very helpful. I use the bus and getting to Family Books and Gifts was easy to get to on Watt Ave and returning back home. I most likely do business in the future with Family Books .

I cannot say enough about the extraordinary service I received today at this Christian bookstore. From the moment I walked in, Mary and Tatiana provided outstanding customer service. Even though they usually don't have an engraver available on Sundays, they understood my urgency and made a call to see if someone could help. Nakaana came to the rescue and was able to engrave the Bible for me, which was a huge relief.

This is the last Christian bookstore in the area, and I live an hour round-trip away, but their willingness to go above and beyond made it all worthwhile. The store itself is absolutely adorable, and I ended up picking up a few extra items. Supporting this local business is a joy, not just because they're among the few left, but because their customer service is incredible. I'd choose this bookstore every time, even if there were multiple others competing for my business.

The only store like this in the area. Lots of custom and rare items and motivational books, you won't find at a regular book store. The staff is very helpful and friendly

I was there Saturday 12/9/2023 with my husband for the first time. Traveled from out of town and found this store. Decided to take a look. I was looking for a cross and a new travel Bible so I can keep it with me at all times. There was an older man who greeted us but kept following us around the store as if we was going to steal something. The young lady with the long black hair was helping another customer, she seemed nice, had a conversation with the customer, even prayed with the customer. When it was our turn to pay, she refused to help us, she told the old man that was following us around the store to ring us out. I did buy a cross and a bible, but it was not a great experience. I will not let that negativity flow in my heart. I forgive this fake of a Bible store. God does not judge, God accepts all race, God loves all. We are taught to forgive, so we forgive you for judging us just because we are not of the same race. You are not a true child of God. May God forgive you and may you find true peace in your heart. Will never come here again. Only reason why i went there was because we were taveling and i wanted to have the items on hand right away. Save time and money and buy on Amazon and have it shipped to home. Amazon has the same thing and cheaper.
