Such a great shop, has great energy and the staff is kind. They have multiple options for kids books and I came across “So Loud” which is from an author I absolutely love. If you can’t find a book, they will order it in for you.

Attended a book launch for Maya Playa the Part by Calyssa Erb. The event was lovely, and the bookshop was great! Easy to order online and pick up my book in store at the event to get it signed by the author.

My new favourite book store! The staff are so friendly and helpful and gave some excellent book recommendations. The customers in the shop were also super helpful. Very community feel and it was quite refreshing. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic book shop with a great, curated selection. Mostly new titles at market prices. Fiction, non-fiction, and some comics. A big focus on progressive politics, anti-racist/feminist/socialist lit. They regularly have events with authors. The only reason I don’t come here more often is to avoid over-spending on books…

An amazing curation of left-leaning books. I was a little overwhelmed - walking both and forth between sections. Although I forced myself to whittle down my choices to 2 books, I was pleased with both books I ended up getting. 1 was about Toronto, the other taking place in Toronto and from a publisher in Toronto (Invisible Publishing). It’s always nice to get books I wouldn’t normally find at my local bookstore.
