I’ve been in a few times as I like to support local bookstores over Amazon and other big name retailers. The atmosphere is very cozy. It’s a good break from the busyness of Brooklyn. Recently I called and ordered a book that they didn’t currently have. The book was in my hands in 72 hours! It actually had come a day earlier, so in the store within 48 hours. I received a text when it arrived. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend stopping by or ordering a book through this business!

Homy, nice staff and book selection:
The bookshop has warm corlored walls and wood accent tha makes you feel good inside. At the end of the shop there is a chirdren corner with a window on the exterior.
The staff is helpful and welcoming.
A cat either sleeping by the front window or marching through the book adds to the atmosphere.

As the name suggests this is a community bookstore! Great selection of books old and new, small but mighty even has a good kids/YA section. I’ve loved getting books here because of the vibe but most importantly the people working behind the counter! Each time I’ve asked a question they’ve had answers and recommendations for me. Hope you remain a neighborhood staple!

Love this store! They have nice selection of books. The stuff is always friendly and helpful, and there is an awesome cat living there. By the way, they have a little beautiful garden in the backyard where you can read.

Cute book shop that is very clean and organized. It was fun to stop and check out the different sections. Loved their kids section as well. Tons of science-y and hands on books and ideas for kids.

I happened to overhear the enthusiastic, well-versed, & descriptive recommendations two men running the font counter gave to a customer who needed a book to read on a plane to Morocco. This is a place where books are known & loved, & the shelves curated more than simply stocked. one of my favorite bookstores! Plus, you know, the handsome cat!
