I echo the reviewer who said zero stars. I have MS and after waiting six months to get in, the first appointment she hadn't even reviewed my records, stated you've seen a lot of doctors and got me to sign a form to test for Cadasil. It came back negative, she gave me steroids for the exacerbation I was having and wanted to refer me back to Barnes St. Louis where I was misdiagnosed. I had a new symptom and she ordered a two hour MRI which finally correctly indicated MS and she still refuses to put me back on Ocrevus. She will not answer questions and after saying she wanted to refer me to St. Louis has done nothing at all. I finally got my GP to refer me to Mizzou. Don't go to this doctor. She's sadly either completely incompetent or just doesn't care. Worst experience EVER!!!!

This doctor I personally think she doesn't care about any of her patients. And during Covid when she couldn't go home she took it out on patients. She gave me a pill but she didn't even look to see what I was taking from physc drugs and they didn't interact. After 2 days I didn't know who I was and had some bad psychosis I ended up getting evicted from the government housing.

My husband has seen he twice before. We were really upset this time. She has previously told him he had the the beginning of Parkinson today with the same problems he doesn't what the heck. Still no answers, still have shakes, drag foot, small writing. Orders an mri for brain with no understandable reason as to why.
Very hard to understand. I looked on mercy and her office group are the only. neurologist wo

If I could give zero stars I would.
95% of the appointment was her telling me I needed to lose weight. 2.5% was her annoyed that I did not know what my A1C was from my other doctor. And the other 2.5% was her saying she wasn’t even sure I had diabetes.
She was very rude.
I will list a few things she said to me:
“It is okay to set your kids in front of the TV and exercise for 30 minutes. They will be fine. Playing with them outside is not active enough that is basic parenting. You need to work out.”
“I am not sure you even have diabetes because if I do bloodwork your A1C will be fine since you are on medication for it. So, I do not even know if you are actually diabetic”
“I guess we can do bloodwork and I’ll mail you results, you do not need a follow up”
I mentioned I have several symptoms of PCOS and she said “Okay? Were you diagnosed?” And I said no, but I’d like to do whatever test necessary to check for it and she was not interested in that at all.
These are just a few things she said. I literally sat there the entire appt and listened to her telling me all these things and got ZERO answers, no course of action, nothing.
She was very dry, I barely even talked I was lectured the whole time. I 100% WIL NOT go back.

The first time I went to see Dr. Li, I told her I didn’t want shots on my left side because the doctor that helped me the last time made me unable to keep my head facing forward. She told me that she had been doing the shots for 15 years and she knew what she was doing. The second time, I deferred to her expertise. My neck hurts more because I can’t hold my head erect for very long. The muscles in the back of my neck are too weak, I guess. But there is no follow up. I guess I just have to struggle through until the muscles get better. The time spent in her office is very minimal. I see that I am not the only person that has experienced this.

She cares more than she might show. She's always done her very best for me. She showed me real compassion and caring when I needed it. I trust her with my brain. It's the most I have of anything. I've seen other neurologists because of a change of location, and I came back to her. The others were very dismissive or just couldn't figure anything out. I won't go to anyone else.

I really don't understand the other reviews (maybe they got the Dr. wrong or something). I am a retired RN and have worked with physicians for 40 years. We saw Dr. Li regardling my husband's recent stroke. Dr. Li was so personable and understanding of his frustrations and she took the time to show us his MRI . She was friendly and encouraging and developed a plan of care for us. We have absolutely no complaints with her and feel lucky to be under her care.

Terrible bedside manner! She has ZERO empathy for her patients. I had 31 botox injections last week for migranes & was bawling & just needed some time to breathe a minute. She was just awful. I will not go back!! She is heartless.
