My favorite bookstore turned into a horrible looking spirit shop that did not use the space of the building well. It was a 2 floor book store but since it turned into a spirit shop they only use part of the first floor. The items inside weren't even worth buying.

When I went to check on google to see if they moved it I was excited to find out that they did move it. The new building looked cooler but when I went inside It turned out that it was just another spirit shop. The only books they had was a small shelf with barely anything on it. They used to be connected to barned and nobles and apparently they still are. If they are why would they only have a shelf full of books and not make that whole room a book area. They have plenty of space for the college merch including the other building. There was barely any manga or other graphic novels either.
I understand if you're only selling the essentials for the college students but at least make it convenient and closer for them to get a little more variety. The nearest Barnes and nobles is about 10 or 20 mins away.

Don't even call it a bookstore if that small shelf is all the books you got. Its such a nice area. It needs a good bookstore.

Ok: this is NOT a bookstore!!!

Repeat: NOT a bookstore.

It is a merchandise shop. Lots of pricey W&M stuff and that's about it. There is a rack of selected books by W&M profs, but if you want books you'll need to go elsewhere.

Surprised, in this college town, that this self-described book store had only a few books ... but their very small selection was impeccable.

Very disappointed as a William & Mary alum to learn that the bookstore which underwent improvements during my time there and was an outstanding store in a perfect location is now a sportswear store, and this new replacement is a clear severe downgrade.

I don't blame the new store for doing the best it can after being dealt an unfortunate hand, I blame the university. But the only money I'd be inclined to spend on W&M right now would be a fund to restore a proper college bookstore on DoG Street.

While shopping center is busy but not over whelmingly busy. The food shops are elite.... The sub shop is one of the best I've ever been to. Highly recommend place to visit.
